Did you know you can invite people to like your business page on Facebook? No, not just your friends and family. People who interact with your ads. Yes, that’s right, you can get page likes just from reactions to your ads. It’s pretty easy really, so we’ll save you the read time and simplify it. You can even just watch the video at the bottom of the page if you'd rather watch than read.
Anyways, for those of you still reading, after your ad has been running and people begin to react to it, go into your notifications and on the left-hand side click on “Likes”. Of course, for the sake of their anonymity, certain items have been blurred out or marked over such as names. What is shown should be more than enough to understand the directions. Moving on.... From here you should have a column of things people have liked on your page or ads. It will say something like “Bob Smith and 10 other people reacted to your photo/video/post”. I'm sure Bob Smith is actually a very common name, but in this case it is fictional and does not represent any real Bob Smith's out there.
Once you click on that notification it will take you to the post or ad with those reactions. Open up all of the reactions by clicking under the post where the names of the people who reacted to it appear. This will bring up yet another box of everyone who has reacted to said post/ad. On the right-hand side next to the names will be a box that says “Invite”. If they already like your page or have already been invited, it will also tell you that in a grayed-out box.
That’s it, they will get a notification saying they’ve been invited to like your page and then it’s up to them to accept or deny. One thing to keep in mind is that you can only invite them to like your page ONCE. So, if they don’t accept it, that’s it, you cannot invite them again.
Obviously, this doesn’t work for 100% of the people who react to your content, but it’s an added bonus to your ads that will help you gain page likes as well. I’ve come to find that this feature works best on “Engagement” campaigns because it targets more people who will react to your ads, but it will work with any ad as long as there are reactions. Good luck out there and stay tuned for more secrets to Social Media advertising.
